Columbia - Friction Weld Strapping Tools

These excellent tools are widely used for securing loads using PP (polypropylene) and PET (polyester) strapping, using friction to create a stronger seal than traditional metal seals.

They have been ergonomically desined to be balanced and for one-handed use they weigh approx 4kg, we supply them as standard with Makita Li-Ion batterys with a smart charger. Once set they apply the same tension and seal time everytime they are used, adjustments are made quickly and easily by a digital display.

We have three main models the DIGIT SMART MT and DIGIT SMART LXT for low to medium tension (2300N) applications using 10-16mm strap (no tooling changeover) and the DIGIT POWER HP for higher tension (4500N) applications.
